For more than 10 years Holland Addiction Treatment Center has been helping men and women recover from the use of street drugs, prescription drugs, alcohol and other substance of abuse. The staff understands the importance of family and how drug abuse and addiction affects the entire family unit. Holland provides their residents with residential inpatient treatment utilizing comprehensive treatment programs to ensure long term recovery success.

Residential inpatient treatment provides their residents with the help and support they need around the clock as they face challenges during recovery. Detoxification is an important step when recovering from substance use and Holland provides medication assisted detox which reduces the symptoms of withdrawal and eliminates cravings. Individual evaluations and follow up evaluations are provided to ensure each of their clients receive effective treatment for their own individual needs. Individualized treatment helps to prevent relapse and strengthens the skills needed for long term recovery success.

12 Step programs and Behavior Therapy are a big part of Holland's recovery program. Twelve step programs provide a guide for recovery, helps individual's take responsibility, and offers support and guidance for recovering members. Behavior therapy helps clients modify destructive thinking and behavior patterns and develop positive skills and techniques to help manage recovery from addiction and improve their health and well-being.

Individual counseling focuses on the person's unique symptoms of addiction and other areas of their life that may contribute to their substance use. Through individual counseling, underlying issues are addressed, damage that's been caused due to substance use is addressed, and counselors help their clients achieve and maintain abstinence.

Education and knowledge is needed for anyone recovering from addiction and substance use. Holland helps their clients understand addiction is a lifelong illness that's treatable but has to be managed throughout the client's lifetime. Skills needed to prevent relapse and maintain recovery are necessary for anyone overcoming addiction. Holland's clients learn to develop positive ways to deal with problems and cope with stress in order to maintain sobriety in their future.

After Care Counseling provides extra support for Holland's clients when treatment is completed and they're back at home. Sometimes unexpected challenges develop when a client returns home and after care counseling helps their clients develop positive strategies dealing with problems in order to maintain recovery.
