If you're a woman and in need of treatment for chemical dependency, Tulsa Women and Children's Center (TWCC) in Oklahoma provides their clients with "cost-effective clinical and medical treatment" in a caring and sensitive environment to help them heal from dependency. TWCC is a gender specific (women's), chemical dependence center that treats their clients with dignity and respect providing them with individualized treatment that's based on their individual needs and the "severity of her addiction".


Children's Program

Not only does Tulsa Women and Children's Center provide residential treatment for women, but it's also a sanctuary for their children. The Children's program at TWCC is a comprehensive program that helps children from addicted families and gives them the ability to heal while their mothers are healing in treatment. At Tulsa Women and Children's Center the client's children are in a safe and nurturing environment while their mothers are in recovery.


Tulsa Women and Children's Center Adult Program Offers Women

  3. Nursing Care (around the clock)
  4. Psychotherapy
  5. Trauma Therapy
  6. Therapy (group, individual, family, and couple's)
  7. Aftercare and Outpatient Treatment

Program at TWCC Consists Of:

  1. 52 bed residential treatment facility
  2. 6 months of inpatient treatment
  3. Subsequent aftercare
  4. Professional staff (vast majority are women)
  5. Female specific adult treatment
  6. Ethnically diversified
  7. Specialized treatment and psycho-education for school aged children
  8. Family program
  9. Licensed childcare center on-site

Not only are TWCC clients able to heal and recover from chemical dependency their children are too. Their clients are provided with positive parenting education, mentoring, and "the tools to create a new life for themselves and their children".
